McGill Daily Website Attacked

Further to my post earlier today on the McGill protesters shouting down the speaker at a legitimate McGill event, McGill Protesters Shut-Down Free Speech

"Choose Life" the pro-life group who's event was targeted, published a sound and well written rebuttal in the "McGill Daily". I now discovered that an attempt to vandalize page of the McGill Daily web-site  where the Choose Life piece was published.

Fortunately it is was a very amateurish attack; the vandals simply posted long multiple comments of gibberish against the Choose Life essay. However, I was concerned that the page might not be accessible, so I took an image of it. The 57 pages of multiple posts of gibberish on the right hand side of the page can be seen here,

Of course, I can't say who did this attack; but I can speculate.

Who might do something like this? Well the same kinds of people who had no qualms about shutting down a legitimate talk on campus would do it.

Come to think of it, if they want to quash free-speech, they might want to stop the publication of a written essay too. I mean it would be consistent with their aims, and ethics (low ethics that is).

The people who would waste their time to sing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" complete with animal noises, perhaps would be prepared to sit and post multiple posts of gibberish on a website. They don't seem to have the intellect to state a cogent case against Choose Life and their event, so they resort to what they can do - that would be sabotage.
